Illusion of Self II

Inspiration requires exploration, and the unveiled deepening that can occur through the expansion of our consciousness is limitless. The original message titled “Illusion of Self?” was published on August 27, and through experience and flow it’s important that we revisit past thoughts with an open mind. We are wanderers, even that which we create is exposed to change. Meditate, look within, and recreate.

We asked ourselves: Is the self illusory or not? Some contemporary teachings believe that the self is a subjective culmination of experiences, but is not in and of itself found in nature. Experiencing the flow devoid of self is how one exists on a spiritual level. Conversely, some psychologists agree that through awakening we will understand that it is not that there is "no" self, but rather a "new" self. A casting off of our primal attempts to be someone.

Through a continual deepening within the Ta'am and a conscious connection to our Tonalli, it is possible to realize that both of these beliefs are true, and more, and less. By intermingling conscious with unconscious, the Ta'amist will awaken to realize that it is possible to become "any" self. In essence, while still attached to the body of our present reality, this is how the Ta'amist can catch a glimpse of the afterlife, over and above the verisimilitude of the grid.

Originally, we looked at the truth of “any” self, and the endless possibilities attainable through Ta’amism. In a spirit of rebirth however, we may be missing something. We often use the term “self-actualize” as a way to describe internal struggles and efforts to deepen, but when considered in the realm of your subjective self, is this possible? And if so, would this then be considered a form of prophecy, as in self-fulfilling and impossible to escape such as fate? Or when truly meditating on the self, can we then open our eyes fully and realize that it is not prophecy or preordained fate, but rather an infinite myriad of ever-changing paths laid out before us that we have the freedom to travel at will?

Returning to our forethoughts, energy is vital to navigate this landscape. One must have a steadfast grasp of one’s vibrations in order to achieve this. This not only demands a summoning of our three souls, but an active and full union with our Tonalli. The journey is worth the effort of deepening, for in the afterlife the Ta'amist has the potential to move even beyond "any" self, and into "all" selves.

Dear Pa'al, look within, meditate on the truth of "all" selves, and inspire your spirit.

By deepening, we live.
